The Floorballer and The Sun

Once upon a time in, in mid September, four Floorballers from Penang went to KK's Pulau Manukan. Enjoying the cooling breeze and random fishes and corals while snorkeling.

As time ticks away, they got bored and tired and hungry and they were thinking of Burger King, which is a rare delicacy back home. So they decided on a bet amongst themselves that whoever catches a fish with their bare hands first, will be treated like a King with all the Burgers the other three can afford.

As they set out for their quest, creativity came pouring.
They meditated like monks and striked when the fish swam close.
They took of their cloths and tried to scoop the fish.
They even once forgo their differences and worked together as the circle the fish.

Hours of sun bathing and hand piecing, they got bored and tired and hungry and they were thinking of getting the nearest random food and they gave up.

Fair back

Little did they know that the Sun who were fond of the fishes was furious at their constant harassing of the Sun's beloved pets. As a punishment, the Sun decided ti shower them with his homemade curse. As the Sun was about to lay down his curse, one of the Floorballer's fair back was particularly irritating as it reflected the Sun's ray which was his pride. And so the Sun forgot of the other three and gave that Floorballer the full blast of the Sun Curse.

and The Sun

By the time they got home, even under the roof and in a cooling air-conditioned room, the Floorballer's RED back started felt hot and painful. Only showers in the bath room could relieve the pain but when it was time to put on the cloths again, slow twitching of the fabric onto the skin was pure torture.

As they set out for the long awaited Burger King, he realised that he could not lay his back down on any object, it was painful.

The Sun was giggling evilly as he sets and while he was waving his magic on the other side of the sphere, the Floorballer struggled in his bed to find peace. The back pain was to much to endured which forces him to sleep on his chest which was also uncomfortable which he would then turn to his back, suffering another series of pain before biting his teeth and slept with his side.

For the next few days, he was trapped in the spiral of pain. The slightest of touches or a little spark of sun ray was the worlds' worst pain. Whether is it the back sit of the car or the chair, when walking down the streets, when changing clothes, especially when doing shoulder pushing in a Floorball clinic. His back was bloody red and had transformed into a lobster.

Luckily, as days go by, to his relieve, the pain started to wear off and he was thankful for the Sun's mercy. The Sun however, was not as forgiving as he thought and was waiting to enjoy to see the Floorballer suffer the curse's side effects.

The Floorballer's skin had now turned black and his friends can barely recognised him. On top of that, his skin is constantly falling off in to shreds leaving a mess everywhere. His room needed regular sweeping more that ever as the floor was dominated by the white dead skins and whenever he changed his cloths, piles of whites will drop down. The second stage of the curse has evolved him from a lobster to a snake.

Finally, the skin changing process halted after a week. However, he is no long the fair back he used to be. He is now... not so fair back and has vowed to defeat the Sun and catch fish with his bare hands the next time he heads to the island.

"I will defeat you!!!"

The End.

it's lame. I know...
