A week of misfortune, suffering and despair...
First was the constant thought of survivability for the coming extra state training. Lacking of discipline in pushing myself to run every evening after work hasn't been as fruitful as I like too. Stress for the whole week.
Saturday
Mana tau, woke up late the next morning and did a near Initial-D drive up Balik Pulau, and had to clear up the stomach before suiting up for training. Super late.
Coach Ed's persistent in us delivering good passes as well as receiving was seriously a real challenge. Understanding the mechanism of the drill, do it with pace and making accurate passes via delicate anticipation and still fearing the wrath of continuously adding on push-ups for mis-passes ( I think I hit 60-80), 3 hours seemed like a life time.
At last, the one moment of satisfaction and relief as we headed out for the long forgotten taste of Balik Pulau's Laksa Lemak!!! ^^
Supposed to head out to Chris's place for a rest but decided otherwise last minutes due to inconvinience and insufficient time for resting anyways. Therefore, helped out in refereeing FireBRANDS and suffered another unusual blow. A slight sore on the knee.
Was a little fearful because you might never know whether the ligament was injured, thankfully after training the pain wore off and hopefully it stays that way!! But not before going through a hellish training.
Training was hell!
8 players on full court doing tactical runs, couldn't even run properly due to fatigue and the sore knee which at times render my leg useless as if it was already dead. Huffed and puffed and dragged the physical body through the training until the "Big Thing"(Quote Coach Ed).
3 versus 3 on a rearrange court. Loses to be awarded the honor to do 50 push-ups. Push hard for the final lap as I refusal to receive the "glory".
Played hard but fell harder.
First the left calf gave way. Ouch! Got up, pushed again.
We were on the losing side and the opponent kept attacking, refused to gave in and got sliced near the down under by Jo-Wyee's shot... OUCH!!! and stunned for 2 seconds. What the... Pushed on.
Finally, it was the left calf's turn to call it a day as well and what a place to choose, near the boards. Ouch Ouch Ouch!!
Final whistle... 50 up downs awaits. Crap~
Sunday
Tired, painful, powerless, soreness............
I was a live corpse. Climbing up the from the bed and up stairs became the challenge of the day.
Staying awake was challenge number 2 as I couldn't stay up for half and hour without feeling sleepy.
Slept after breakfast, slept after lunch.
After dinner, the much anticipated Derby of England.
Crappy stuffs from Man U, lack of drive and quality in the final ball. Got caught on the counter and Ferdinand once again got outpaced by the striker.
And Mum kept mocking from behind, tak boleh tahan, felt like giving her a hairdryer!!! Sabar......
Vidic sent off for the 3rd time against Liverpool while Mascherano followed suit for the 2nd time. What a week!!
