21 and 22 Feb,
It was yet again the long awaited national training.
Another 14 hours of Floorball.
Nice?
I donno. I'm confused!
Anyway, it started of with an anxious night as Link and I were anticipating Kok Ee and Guan who were coming down from Singapore. Super Gila Floorballers.
Me and Ming Hwee are already consider hebat, always driving all the way from mainland for training,
Ayer Itam,
Dalat,
Balik Pulau,
We'll be there,
but compare to these fellas?
we are nothing wei~
Anyway, back to anxious Link and I,
we were expecting them to reach Sg. Nibong around 7am and give us a call,
Link gave them his number but...
he didn't get theirs just in case,
so we were like anticipating the worst:
"What if they forgot to note down his phone?"
Do we chun chun 7 go to the bus station and ronda around? Siao wei~
So, according to Link,
he couldn't sleep the whole night, keep checking his phone. haha.
Me? Sweet dreams la, haha...
All was good, as Link woke me up around 7 and say they had arrived.
Well, good for us, but not so good for them la.
Apparently, Guan left his PSP in the bus and the bus in now back in mainland. Crap~
Called the bus driver and was going to take taxi and retrieve their possession,
but then the bus driver called back and said there was nothing there already,
Crap~
Maybe he makan it already la...
but Guan, super calm,
like nothing happened.
Cool, so we meet up with Superman Chris and had some breakfast before heading up to HELL!!
Balik Pulau.
No boards. Crap~
They are all in Dalat, Div 2 match is on.
We were all anticipating the worst,
physical training all the way.
We are all soooo dead!!!
Well, not quite... but almost,
by far the heaviest morning training.
Passing, passing, passing,
You say, passing nia ma.. easy stuff.
I say, passing nia lo, come try and see!
3 man merry-go-round pass,
round round we go,
anticlock, clockwise,
pening!
follow up by 2 man triangle pass,
pass run, pass run...
Follow up by power play and box defense,
also run up run down stuffs,
and final,
Killer senior...
really killer,
killed all my appetite for lunch.
Ah, forced myself to eat la,
if not sure die later.
Kok Ee was seriously struggling to finish his meal,
keep passing his food around.
The only thing that tasted nice was the soya bean and sugarcane.
Best drink ever!
Lunch time,
Still no sign of the boards,
more passing...
Killer pass,
aka killer junior.
Forehand, backhand, forehand backhand,
argh... cannot run already.
one and a half minutes per person, we are already half dead, how to play in APAC? haiz...
Finally the boards came late in the afternoon.
With all the boards in placed,
more power play and box defensive.
Then, counter attacking drills.
Sprint and sprint.
And for once, some attacking play ups.
Finally!
A simple one,
simple as it seems,
we all struggle to get it right,
haiz, how to be positive for Korea?
5pm, yeah, break time.
More killers before you get freedom.
Pushed all the way!!
Must push more on other days,
been slacking.
Night training,
more power play and box defense.
Then a game.
Nobody really enjoyed it. I think.
All too tired to do anything.
Even super fit Vice, Deswyn also tak boleh tahan already.
Coach seeing us already tak larat la,
ended training early.
No killers to end it, if not, seriously literally will kill us this time.
And a good meal!! to celebrate our survival for the 1st day.
Guan and Kok Ee was like on a holiday trip,
hamtam 4 dishes,
Penang food is unresistable. haha.
For Chris, Koay Cap is unresistable,
that fella ate 2 bowls,
the uncle even knows him already. haha.
Back to Link place with Guan, Kok Ee and Chris.
5 fellas cramping in his room,
the whole room is covered with beds and my sleeping bag.
We took turns to bath,
and there was endless complains and nagging...
"Wah tired la, cannat tahan liao, wanna sleep."
"Eh, why he so long. Fast la."
By the time everybody finished,
within 2 -3 minutes, the whole room goes silient.
Say wanna borak kononnya.
Haha.
I hope I didn't snore..
Morning,
another 4 hours to survived.
We survived 9 hours on Sat,
but we were all worn out,
started of the day with some crapping warm ups drills,
Coach decided to let us play,
crappy game play as well.
Tried to push myself,
for awhile la.
But struggle to keep up the pace.
Coach also frust la,
so he ended training rather early,
without the killers! Phew~
So, the have-to-up-our-body-conditioning talk and the have-to-do-self-training lecture came again.
When will we listen?
or better to put it this way,
we listened,
but when will we start disciplining ourselves to do it?!
Anyway, lunch time.
Guan and Kok Ee were already anxious about getting their laksa.
The taste was still in their mind since they last came.
And no kidding,
Balik Pulau Laksa Lemak is pretty good,
I hantam 2 bowls myself.
So another 2 days of hell,
came out alive,
but disappointing performance la.
More treadmill sessions at home, will more inclines!
Before that, a long way home...
Reach home safe but seriously sleep along the way.
Final test in Mar, 12,13,14 and 15.
4 days of team bonding in MSN Bukit Jalil.
And after that,
Korea!
24-29 Mar.
Must up the endurance!!

The Center
“得中场者得天下”
football and floorball alike,
"Who controls the center, controls the match"
something we might learn in an instant,
but
take a lifetime to master.
we all still have much to learn.

Dirty Job
Well, not really accurate to call it a dirty job,
but if not handled well,
scenes get dirty;
spectators becomes noisy.
Worst case?
All hell break lose,
it gets ugly.
We don't want that,
so you have the man,
with the most powerful weapon,
the whistle.
It might be small,
but one requires ability in abundance to wield it.
48 pages of raw knowledge,
confusing and debatable;
Never ending experience,
the more the better;
Superman reaction,
split second decision-making;
Mental mesti kuat!
ignore all the kayu jeer.
And the list gets longer as it goes...
Tough job.
Who is interested?
Go do some reading. <---
Who don't wanna kena on the day?
Go do some reading also. <---
Thank you!!

CNY Random
CNY has been mark off with several negatives. But when you turn around a take a different perspective at things, there appears to be some positives admist. Funny.
The famous dog bite on day 2, brought pain and blood but just maybe, MAYBE... it might bring some good fortune? Deferred positivity. haha. Definitely looking forward to it!
Missing out some appointments with my friends was rather disappointing but guess what, I get to play FM, finally, for consecutive hours and days. And finish a season. Took a lot of time cuz my gear suck, super f'king slow!! Now I'm in dilemma whether to continue with the second season...
No floorball really sucks. Really really really damn sienz. Getting really unfit because I serious lack discipline to get onto the threadmill to work on some miles. Especially during CNY, so many food to eat, TV to watch, events to attend and Movies to watch!!! Who is crazy enough to waste time sweating? Mental super tak kuat.
Scarficing fitness, for the sake of entertainment and leisure. Sure gonna payback in APAC. Crap~
Then there is the steamboat. Darn. I hard another one at day 4 with my pals. Countless steamboat and reckless eating resulted to ulcers. Pain with the slightest tweak on the muscles. Now I have to chew every mouth at a small proportion with the slowest chewing of my life!
Having pride on my speed on the table, I am now the last in every meal, with all eye on me.
However, the chewing has brought new experience with food. For long I have been gobbling in my meals trying to get it done asap, I lost the joy in food tasting. This pass week, I have regular food has gave new taste to my taste buds. Even daily econ rice taste different when you work on every bite and chew correctly and wholeheartedly. It was an accidentally experience while trying hard to inflict minimal pain to the wound. haha.
Now, I am heal and back to the wallop everything mode, messing up with my food.I kind of miss the suffering days. No pain no gain huh? Maybe I need to slow down a bit to savor things I chew once in a while, gain some enjoyment without pain, please.
Eat to live. Live to eat. My my.. tough choice.
