Must Go Run!

Trained or untrained.

I'm definitely the later in terms of stamina & endurance which the coach has made it the main theme for the term for the senior in state training.

Introducing the package for the day:
1. 4 laps of suicide sprints for 3 intervals of 20 seconds
2. following with 15-20 laps around Dalat's field(approximately 4.5+ km) in 20 minutes with sprints on the straight path of the course.
3. and ending with another 4 laps of suicide sprints for 4 intervals of 20 seconds.

Not to mention the scrapping of game play for us to accomadate the "Package". Jo-wyee was particularly upset.(Mental tak kuat! XD)

After managing to regulate my breath during last week's 20-lap run, I was eager to try it out this time around.

Guess what, I managed to finish 15 laps within the time. Thanks to the hellish experience last week, and the presence of Chris running side by side at a similar pace(Chris also slow lar. haha)

Have to specially mention Chris here cuz with this joker running beside me. He was my motivation. Maintaining pace with star defender is a feat itself k? Hehe... Thanks a lot bro!

That was not end of story, the coach wasn't ready to let us rest our laurels. As the game ended around 9 30pm, the seniors were order to be on the line , suicide sprints. Some more?! Crap~

I was expecting my legs to be heavy and a lap of these would have killed me. Instead to my astonishment, I managed to survive 3 laps without a cramp and with reasonable speed as well. But when the unexpected 4th lap came, it was a killer!!(now we know why they are also called killers!) Body felt like wall about to crumble and catching my breath like a fish out of water.

Conclusion: had I improved over the past week after able to regulate my breathing or it is merely because we didn't play any games like last week and we simple did less laps?

Hard to say. Both I guess. Maybe it was due to the mental of mind(mental dah dikuatkan) and with the body on a "flow" after the 15 lap run?

I believe many had experience it when you execute endurance training. The starting laps were always the hardest but as it goes on you hit a point where suddenly everything feels... good? And you just feel that you can keep on going and going. Yeah I think this is it.

But to really prove the improvement, more training will be a necessity which I clearly understands and have been pushing myself for consistent training at home. However, you know la~ The mind is weak without "the one" pushing. (Mental tak kuat!) What a lame excuse.

Must kuatkan Mental!

Must go run!

Must go run!!

Die die must to run!!!

For the sake of my survival in APAC(or any other games in the future) or else prepared to get slaughtered!!! I'm sick of it! Therefore, MUST GO RUN~!

p/s: this is what my brain can crack lar. limited, uninspiring and crappy. can't wait to read your version. XD
