Getting up from bed, I grab one of the many bottles of Powerade Lime from under my bed, took a full gulp. Yeah... This isotonic drink my dope over here in Perth with day after day of intensive sports, I would need at least a dose of it everyday. Taking into account 2 games and 1 hell of a cramp, I have been taking 3 up till the morning and when for another 1 before the match at 1600.
Nothing special in the morning except for another Subway brunch(boring...) and hanging out at the arena for some matches before ours.
Today, we are up against the best team in Asia. Singapore. They are fast, skillful and tough. It is already as sacry hearing we gotta play them. Although they were not in full strength and without some curcial seniors, like all-star sharp shooter Brown and a few, they were good enough to beat us one handed i suppose. (Crap~ Mental tak kuat ni!!)

Hey, hey, careful the world knows... =P

Back to business - 75? 50?
It is fair to say that Singapore is the best team in Asia, and they should be. Being one of the earliest Asian countries to pick up the sports, having a huge pool of players with competitive league(3 divisions) and regulars in the international circuit(division B). Therefore, it was a surprise when the coach opted a defensive approach - 75% press. Defensive strategy to keep the score line respectable and praying they get complacent to give us a chance to nab a goal or 2.

Apa khabar? Nanti bagi muka sikit lar.

Majulah Singapura vs Negaraku
Singapore prove too stong for us(in fact everybody, as they fought their way into the finals and defended their title), they were passing the ball with great ease. They were not rushing, instead they patiently wait, wait, exhaust us and strike with sudden burst of pace.
We ran and ran trying to keep up with their pacey forwards and foul them in occasion to halt their run, but their flair and vision constantly pierce through our defense as though they never exist. Helpless and speechless as we let in goal after goal and Illyaz bursting his lungs out of frustration.

Face off makin lama makin meluat!!

Celebrating egg-breaking
The heartbreaking part is that we are always celebrating breaking the egg, as if it lowers the level of embarrassment of the trashing. Well, a little i guess. However, today was different, we were having supporters, local students that came to cheer for us with the presence of the Malaysian Consul General. We really need to find a hole and stick our face in it. Crap~

The big shot vs the one

Getting a last second assist - Mamak the scorer. (again)
2-16. A humiliation in front of our own country men. How are we going to spread and promote the sports with this kind of performance? Uninspiring!!
What's done is done! We still have one final, last chance of redeeming ourselves and qualified for the semis. Vs Korea. Bring it on!!

"Terima kasih banyak banyak datang jerit untuk kami." T_T

Losing happily. hehe.

one(ouch!), two(stop! stop!), three(cannot liao~), four...

"Ah! Ahh!! AHHHHH!!!!"
(Eh, boy or girl??)

Guess whats for dinner?
What else?
Subway...
(to be continued...)
